Saudi players Ahmad Sarouji and Salwa Alireza claimed international titles last week, with Sarouji winning the ATF 16&Under Almaty Alatau in Kazakhstan and Alireza winning the MT200 Khao Lak in Thailand, part of the World Tennis Masters Tour.
 

Ahmad Sarouji Wins ATF 16 & Under Title in Kazakhstan

Ahmad Sarouji won the title at the ATF 16&Under Almaty Alatau, part of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) circuit, after a strong performance throughout the tournament.
He had a strong week, winning 10 sets and losing only one on his way to the title.
Following the ATF 16 & Under Rankings update on August 17, Sarouji moved up to No. 17 in the rankings after his title win in Almaty.
 

Salwa Alireza Wins World Tennis Masters Tour Title

Saudi player Salwa Alireza also won the title at the MT200 Khao Lak - Robinson Khao Lak World Tour No. 121 in Thailand, held from August 8 to 12, 2026, as part of the World Tennis Masters Tour.
Salwa finished the tournament with a perfect record of three wins and no losses, taking first place.
Following the World Tennis Masters Tour Rankings update on August 17, Alireza is now ranked No. 349 in the Women’s 45+ Rankings after her title win in Thailand.
These achievements highlight the presence and success of Saudi players across different age groups and levels of international tennis, from junior competitions to the Masters Tour.
