The Saudi women's tennis team will participate in the Billie Jean King Cup team competition - Group III - in Bahrain from October 17 to 21, 2023.

This participation is the first of its kind in the history of the Kingdom for women in the senior category.

Saudi Arabia will play against 13 other Asian teams.

The Saudi team will be represented by five players: Yara Alhogbani, Lara Bukari, Dania Alzuhair, Naya El Farouki, Sarah Al Obaidan. 
The team captain will be Arij Farh.

Preparations for the participation began on October 2, 2023, and will continue until October 12.
The preparations will be held at the facilities of the King Abdullah Sports City "Al Jawhara" in Jeddah and will depart for Bahrain on October 13, 2023.
 

The Saudi team aims to achieve the best possible result in this historic participation.
it hopes to win against some of the participating teams.

The Saudi team seeks to gain more experience and exposure at this level of competition.

The competition will be strong in Group III, as the group includes good teams such as India, Thailand and South Korea.

It is expected that Saudi Arabia will play a good role in this group, especially since it includes talented young players.

It is possible that Saudi Arabia will win against some of the participating teams, which will help it advance to Group II.
